If you’ve played Street Fighter V, think of Soul Charge like you would a V-Trigger. Using it when you think the opponent will attack means you will absorb some attacks, making it difficult for an opponent to evade with a sidestep, and virtually guaranteeing the Reversal Edge will connect.
